What I’ve come to find is that the overwhelming majority of people who come through our doors have some or many issues when it comes to using their body. Either their knee(s) hurt when they squat and/or their shoulder(s) hurt when they raise their arm(s) and/or their back/neck is giving them pain. The list and combination of examples is seemingly limitless and too complicated to try and list. In summary most are nonfunctional. I love making individuals functional, and using that functionality with our training methodology to begin/improve/sustain an active lifestyle. We use our bodies more when they feel good and look good. That’s what I love doing, giving people their bodies back. If you can walk through our doors you can start being more functional and get amazing results!

I ‘ve played many sports growing up and have always been in the fitness lifestyle since I was a child. I’ve always had the passion of helping others no matter what it entitled. After high school, I went on to receive my degree in Athletic Training and a minor in Allied Health. Within their program I have learned so many things about the human body and the amazing things it can accomplish. After receiving my degree I went on to Southwestern Dallas to get my EMT certificate and worked a little bit at Parkland, Baylor and Children’s hospital. Throughout these experiences under SWOSU and my medical training at UTD, it has helped develop a better understanding of the proper way the body needs to move and how to rehabilitate any type of injury.
Since I have introduced CrossFit into my life it has completely changed my perspective on things. I look at life like it is crossfit, I have to PR in new things!!! Not only has it helped my physical appearance but mentally as well. 99% of the time you see me at PRIME , I’m smiling and dancing. I got skills… and they’re multiplying!

I have always enjoyed sports and working out since I was in high school. I know that is

what led for me to be able to play volleyball at TCU and graduate with a Kinesiology degree. Ever since then I have been involved in the Fitness Industry training in the strength & conditioning world to your average joe gyms. Running a corporate fitness facility now and teaching multiple classes a day had led for me to be in a rut. However, about 5 months ago I was introduced to Crossfit and haven’t turned back since. I have seen more results in the past months than I feel like I have in over 2

years! It has truly been inspiring and motivating to be surrounded by so many people helping each other get stronger, better, faster, and bigger. Getting certified is just a stepping stone into my future for what I want to do for myself and others! Here we come REGIONALS!

My goals are to help people achieve/create lifestyle habits that give them a better understanding of why, when and what when it comes to health and fitness. Not just about losing the weight or toning up, but about achieving the balance that everyone wants in life. Finding that time(that we all say we don’t have) to be selfish, so in the end you are able to be less stressed and more productive…leading to more giving and selflessness in the end!

I have always enjoyed being active and participating in athletics. I played soccer growing up until I suffered a knee injury in high school and from that point on I was unable to play competitive soccer. In March of 2013 I decided to give CrossFit a try and immediately fell in love with it. At first I couldn’t even do a pull up without the assistance of a band. During my CrossFit journey I have had many milestones and personal bests.Last year I decided to become a CrossFit Level 1 trainer and I have been lucky enough to join the PRIME family. The thing I like best about our Box is how much of a family we are and we push each other to achieve fitness success.I am currently attending UTA and will graduate in May2015 with a Bachelors Degree in Science and plan on becoming a high school science teacher and coach.

    Stay PRIME !

We are ALL athletes deep down inside. Yes, including YOU! The great thing about CrossFit is that it is scalable to all fitness levels, even for grandma’s like me!

I started my CrossFit journey in 2015 when my daughter brought me to a class. After listening to her for months talk about WOD this, Snatch that, and Fran….who’s Fran? I decided to give it a try. I was instantly sold and humbled all in the same day. I’ve been in the group fitness industry since 2007 as a group instructor of cycling, kickboxing, bootcamp and dumbbell weight lifting classes and thoroughly enjoy helping others reach their fitness goals. The main difference between the corporate gym and CrossFit is the community atmosphere that fills the box at PRIME . Our athletes support one another during every workout, cheering each other on by name, to meet their individual goals.

The sooner you get started, the sooner you get to see results and start to live the kind of quality of life that you’re after!!! I look forward to seeing you soon ~Michelle

What I love most about coaching and training at PRIME is that I have the opportunity to help change lives. What I’ve come to find is that progress comes in many forms, as every person who comes in has a different history, physically and mentally. No matter the history, everyone has the same goal which is to live a healthy, prospering lifestyle. My passion is to take people and help them overcome their daily obstacles and get them to where they are happy with how they feel, look, and live.
